WHAT IS THIS STUDY ABOUT?
This study examines the role of stress, discrimination, and protective factors influencing the sleep health of racial and ethnic minority adolescents residing in urban settings. Adolescents and caregivers will come to our lab at Loyola University Chicago in Rogers Park to complete a 20-40 minute baseline survey. Adolescents will then be asked to wear a sleep tracking watch and complete short 5-minute surveys in the morning and evening for 7 days. At two additional times during high school, adolescents and caregivers will have the opportunity to fill out online surveys. Adolescents will also be asked to wear a sleep tracking watch and complete short surveys in the morning and evening for 7 days. |
